Condensed Milk Trifle

This is probably one of my favorite deserts. My mom used to make it when I was a child, and even though it's very simple, it's so yummy that it marked my childhood!!

Condensed Milk Trifle

- 2 cans of condensed milk
- 4 egg yolks
- 4 egg whites, beaten with 1 cup of sugar (until stiff peaks form)
- 1 tablespoon of butter
- Ladyfinger biscuits
- a bowl of chocolate milk

  1.  Mix the condensed milk with the egg yolks and butter on a saucepan, and cook on low/medium heat until a firm consistency is reached (thicker than custard). Remove from heat and pour on a glass plate (like the one on the picture).
  2. Dip the biscuits in the chocolate milk (don't over soak them), and put them on top of the custard.
  3. Cover the biscuits with the beaten egg whites. Crush some biscuits and sprinkle on top of the egg whites. Cover with a plastic film and refrigerate.

This is truly delicious and very very easy. Give it a try!!

Banana Muffins with Chocolate

I have been asked already to have an English version of the blog, so here it is!

This particular recipe is from the Nigella, who I absolutely love. These muffins are really soft, tasty and very savory.

Banana Muffins with Chocolate
recipe from here

- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 125ml vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 250g all-purpose flour
- 100g sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 150g white or dark chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 200°C/390°F. Line a muffin pan (for 12 muffins) with 12 paper cases. Beat the eggs with the oil, and then add the flour, sugar, baking soda and powder. Stir the bananas in the mixture and fold in the chocolate chips. Fill the muffin cases to around 2/3 capacity and bake for about 20 minutes.
